Inside Google EMEA Zurich

Designer: Camenzind Evolution
Camenzind Evolution were behind the creation of the contemporary spaces in the Google EMEA hub space in Zurich. The workers at Google EMEA Zurich are called Zooglers and they are engineers who occupy this particular EMEA hub. They redesigned their own workspaces to accomplish a more comforting and relaxing environment based around community and common rooms. The architects then created some amazing interiors:

The New Twitter

Designer: Sarah Morishige Williams
I thought I’d show an inside peek into the new Twitter office. They moved to a new and stylish headquarter this past week. They’re still located in San Francisco, but they’ve definitely incorporated a lot more decoration including a lot of “@”s and “birds”! Interior design was mostly headed by Sarah Morishige Williams. Here’s a peak:

Cheig Bench

Designer: Sollo Brasil
The Cheig Bench is a gorgeous idea. Modern form with the heavily pronounced curves. The wooden core is layered in plush D45 foam. The woven shell can be made of anything. It’s a bench, a coffee table, a foot rest, and if you want to be adventurous, turn it on its side for an instant room divider.

Qubiq CD Display

Designer: Kenneth Lylover
This is for those who still pride the compact disc. The Qubiq stores one CD package and its accompanying album. The album case fits in the inside of the Qubiq, sliding in on a vertical drawer, while the CD fits on a big of high-density foam on the front.  It’s pretty sexy.

You Only Live Once

Designer: Mintpass
You Only Live Once Lamp from Mintpass. This noose works in a creepy way; tighten the noose to turn it off and loosen it to brighten the lights. Almost poetic in a way….life is a precious gift, if you let your worries depress you, its like the tight noose of this lamp–DARK.
