POLYP.lux for School Nite

Designer: SOFTlab

SOFTlab created this awesome entrance to School Nite, an exhibition of site-specific installations. The surface of this piece contains over 1400 battery powered LEDs, designed to light up the entrance for the night. The hanging pieces also blow in the wind, with the intention of slowing down traffic through experience and interaction, rather than typical barriers.

Matjaz Cuk Visual Identity

Designer: Matjaz Cuk

Matjaz Cuk had to rethink the design of stationery for this project. Plans of 9 different items are printed on a single sheet. Only two inks were used and only one kind of paper – one with excellent environmental credentials from Gmund. It’s a new visual identity and it not only goods good, but does good…for the environment and for the studio. From this single sheet of paper, one can achieve two small folders, a large folder, seven CD packages, five medium cards and a bookmark, two small notebook covers and six small cards. The variable information are printed on removable stickers. And best of all, everything can be recycled.

UXUS Office’s New Look

Designer: UXUS

The theme for UXUS’s new offic decor is inspired by the rich visual world of Fables. Both the fairytale location of its Art-Nouveau/Ne-Gothic office tower at the crossing of two major Amsterdam canals, and the design agency’s penchant for the mysterious and poetic atmosphere of old and new Fables, influenced the look and feel of the space in which their imaginations roam. This environment will surely foster powerful, unforgettable stories.
