Designer: Jan Maarten Voskuil
“There’s No Point In…” is a series of paintings done by artist Jan Maarten Voskuil, and needless to say, they’re so clean that I can’t help but want on my wall. The minimalism in shape and color is fantastic but it is the architecture created, the form that is sculpted in these paintings that really make them most intriguing.

Designer: Josh Finkle
I am personally excited to feature industrial designer Josh Finkle and his new series ‘Extinct Toys’ because not only are the toys themselves beautifully crafted but the packaging they are packed in illustrate the creation of the creature itself. Josh Finkle is an amazing illustrator, and has been from a young age. Josh’s love for design has carried over into university study at Carnegie Mellon where he currently is a student. Lastly, I must mention…I graduated high school with Josh and have known him for years now. His work has always been pleasing to look at!

A small collection of some of the most intriguing design concepts of 2009! PS. It’s Christmas Eve! Enjoy and be safe! Cheers!
