New from the ØW Collection – Zero Wastage

Carga is the studio that is behind the newest explorations of materials and their repurposing. Known most for the recent experimentation in felt and rivets, the ØW Collection moves the experimentation to the design process itself. The new motto: no waste. Each bag starts as a rectangular strip cut from a roll of fabric. With further trimming, this piece of fabric is cleverly folded and sewn to shape three different models. Every piece of the fabric is retained. In fact, the edge scraps of the used material turns into the distinctive signature feature of the piece.
