OFFF 2008 COUNTDOWN
ROB CHIU aka THE RONIN
Currently a news editor for BD4D, Rob Chiu has come a long way in the arts of motion graphics and print. He is my personal favourite in the area of motion graphics. I can’t begin to explain the extraordinary fascination he has birthed in my curiosity in graphic design. It is not his first time at the OFFF festival, he actually was a showcased artist at last year’s event hosted in Barcalona. He has been recognized for his showreels and graphic film presentations at events such as Toca Me, Adobe Max Beyond and FMX and also in media including Grafik, Stash and Digit.

Chiu founded The Ronin as a motion graphics/print studio in 2000 and has since produced work for a variety of film festivals. His recent film, Dimensions, gained him two awards at the BANFF Film Festival.

He currently lectures at MMU School of Design and also works a role as Creative Director for Beyond Magazine. He is sure to distribute priceless information and visuals in this upcoming OFFF event.
